Country Heart & Home began in March, 2001.A long awaited dream of Amanda's, a well known folk artist and much supported by her husband Brett, Country Wire maker. We started in humble beginnings in a little blue shop in a side street in Bright. We were well supported by the locals and tourists alike and could see before long that we needed more room to house all the gorgeous country goodies and spread our wings a little more.

In September 2002 Country Heart & Home moved into its current premises, a renovated 1939 house in the main street of Bright, Victoria 3 1/2 hours north east of Melbourne, Australia. Now with over 100 m2 of dolls, bears, folk art, Christmas, candles, furniture, quilts and more from local and interstate artisans as well as quality imports from the USA, Canada and England, there is something for all lovers of country. One room is dedicated to Christmas all year round showcasing the most beautiful and latest in yuletide decorating.
